Nearby mountain biking trails offer a wide range of riding, from trains for the beginner rider to some for the more technical rider. Single track and gravel roads allow for a variety of off-the-pavement opportunities.
The area's rural roads offer the most picturesque routes in the region, ones where our mountain and agricultural heritage can be savored. We offer a number of cue sheets and Tour de Greene's 25-, 40-, and 60-mile routes are marked year around.
The Swift Run Gap entrance to the Shenandoah National Park offers local cyclists the opportunity to bike on one of the most scenic roads in the United States. The 35 mph speed limit allows for safe riding while passing deer, bears, and other wildlife. Usually, the park is 15 degrees cooler with lower humidity, making this a great summertime place to ride in the hills.
